SLB in Cambridge, UK is offering a 12-month Chemistry Research Internship starting Summer 2027 in the Materials and Energy Systems group. You will work in soft matter, interfacial science, surfactant systems and polymer materials, mainly lab-based with various physico-chemical techniques.

Candidates should be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters in Chemistry or a related discipline, with good communication and laboratory skills, plus data analysis and reporting abilities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry or related field.
• Strong communication and laboratory skills.
• Basic data analysis abilities.

Responsabilités

• Plan and carry out experimental work
• Analyze and interpret experimental data
• Participate in regular project meetings
• Present findings to peers
• Write technical reports
• Ensure labs comply with Health & Safety guidelines
