Qualifications

• Background as a reporter or researcher covering power markets, renewables, storage or project finance.
• Track record of breaking stories and building sources.
• Existing network among US developers, offtakers or energy financiers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of sources across developers, IPPs, offtakers, utilities and financiers.
• Chase and land scoops on milestones across a project delivery lifecycle.
• Verify information to Voltility's sourcing standard and record sources with date and confidence.
• Collaborate with the research team to decide what to pursue and how to pursue it.
• Pass leads and partial information to researchers for follow-up and QA.
• Attend industry events to build relationships and gather intelligence.
• Write short, factual items for the platform and newsletter to support value for subscribers.
