Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a capable professional to lead Capacity Market activities from our London operations. You will own end‑to‑end processes, steer portfolios with senior teams, and translate evolving energy market directions into actionable pilots and KPIs.

You will collaborate across Veolia units and with external stakeholders to ensure compliance, performance tracking, and long‑term client satisfaction in a dynamic energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy markets, operations, or regulated environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in power systems and market mechanisms.
• Ability to work with clients, markets and technical systems in fast-moving contexts.
• Solid data handling and modelling skills; familiarity with Excel/SQL/Python.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Veolia's Capacity Market activities and related processes with strict deadlines.
• Define and refine portfolio scope with regular steering meetings.
• Develop understanding of energy market direction and translate into strategies and pilots.
• Register assets with relevant services and ensure ongoing compliance and data logging.
• Engage with Veolia Business Units and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Represent Veolia UK in workshops with TSOs/DSOs and market stakeholders.
• Act as primary operational contact for onboarding, project delivery and operations.
• Improve processes for asset performance, risk evaluation and contract management.
