About the role
As a member of the EMEA Solutions team at Energy Exemplar, the focus of this role is to support our power trading customer base and prospects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of expertise in fundamental market modelling and a deep understanding of trading operations. The candidate must be fluent in “trader speak” and possess a solid grasp of how traders utilise market insights and modelling outputs to make real-time and strategic decisions.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with trading organisations, helping them unlock the full potential of Energy Exemplar’s PLEXOS software and shaping the future of energy trading in the EMEA region.

This is a customer facing role, and therefore s uccessful candidates will not only have strong modelling capabilities and domain expertise , but also have excellent communication skills , be outgoing, professional, driven and able to multi-task in a dynamic and often changing environment.
Our customers use our products to help shape the future of the energy industry, and as such this role offers the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies, collaborate with key players in energy markets, and solve the most fundamental problems facing the energy sector today .
The role can be based out of our London office, or remote working. The role also offers the opportunity for international travel across the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
