You will be the Council’s principal energy expert, leading work to secure and manage energy and to develop programmes supporting the authority in achieving net zero goals.

You will collaborate with officers, contractors and elected members to ensure high standards within time and budget constraints.

Local authority in Northamptonshire are currently looking for an Energy Manager for an initial period of three months.

Purpose of the role:

To be the Council s principal expert on energy provision and management, leading work on effectively securing and managing energy for the Council and its partners, and on the development and implementation of programmes and strategies that will support the Council with reaching net zero.

You will work closely with officers, contractors, stakeholders and elected members to ensure that the highest standards are achieved within the constraints of time and budget.

Day Rate Negotiable

Hybrid working 1 day office 4 remote

3 months initially, likely to be ongoing work

37.5 hours per week
