A leading company in the automotive industry is seeking an Energy Management Engineer to shape the future in energy management hardware. The role involves overseeing low voltage systems and collaborating cross-functionally to meet vehicle requirements. Ideal candidates will possess an Engineering Degree and a strong understanding of energy management systems.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in component release and change management processes.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle energy management systems including HV batteries, DC/DC converters, and 12V battery technologies.
  • Experience in electronic/electrical faultfinding.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of low voltage hardware and ensure circuit diagrams are checked.
  • Collaborate within Electrical & Electronics to meet customer and vehicle requirements.
  • Lead validation of platform changes and support technical changes.

Join our client's team as an Energy Management Engineer

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the automotive industry? Our client is seeking a skilled EE Low Voltage Systems Engineer to develop, integrate, and validate energy management hardware that aligns with our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of low voltage hardware, ensuring circuit diagrams are thoroughly checked and approved.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Electrical & Electronics, ensuring that systems meet both customer and vehicle requirements.
  • Lead the introduction and validation of platform changes, and support part introductions and technical changes.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in component release and change management processes.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle energy management systems including HV batteries, DC/DC converters, and 12V battery technologies.
  • Familiarity with bus systems (CAN, Flexray, LIN) and use of diagnostic tools (ODIS, IDEX) for effective problem-solving.
  • Experience in electronic/electrical faultfinding.
Qualifications:
  • An Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Proficiency in German is desirable.
