A prestigious US law firm in the City of London is seeking an experienced energy lawyer to join their dynamic and growing Energy team.

The Role:

1. This is an exceptional opportunity to take a leading role in a high-growth sector, advising on complex, high-value energy and infrastructure projects on a global scale.
2. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse client base including private equity and investment funds, governments, development finance institutions, project developers, banks, institutional investors, and monoline insurers.
3. The team also advises regulators, offtakers, and suppliers, supporting innovative and market-defining projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advising on the full lifecycle of energy and infrastructure projects, including concession, construction, operation, financing, supply, and offtake arrangements.
2. Providing expert legal counsel on construction EPC, EPCM, feedstock, offtake agreements, and other commercial aspects of energy sector transactions.
3. Navigating complex regulatory landscapes and government support mechanisms.
4. Collaborating with leading professionals across international offices to deliver seamless client service.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Qualified solicitor with 5-7 years' PQE.
2. Strong project development background with a focus on energy and construction.
3. Experience gained from a top-tier energy, infrastructure, or natural resources team in London.
4. Demonstrated expertise in advising on construction contracts, supply agreements, and other commercial arrangements.
5. Proactive, commercially minded, and eager to contribute to the growth of a leading Energy practice.
