Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in London invites an intern to support the EIG Portfolio Management UK team, focusing on Energy and Infrastructure assets across 100+ project and corporate finance transactions. You will assist in risk assessment, financial analysis, and review of technical and legal documentation, while helping prepare annual portfolio reviews and weekly updates for Senior Management.

Suitable for 0–2 years’ experience in project/corporate finance; energy infra exposure and strong teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
• Finance or business degree.
• 0–2 years’ worth of Project Finance / Corporate Finance or related credit work experience from an international financial institution or rating agency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in assessment and reporting of credit risks events.
• Help provide clear weekly updates to EIG Senior Management.
• Review financial information (cash flow models, audited and management accounts) and legal/technical documentation.
• Contribute to annual reviews of portfolio files ahead of London credit committees.
• Assist in amendments to documentation / waivers and propose recommendations.
• Support ad-hoc internal reporting requirements, including KYC reviews.
• Participate in team meetings and suggest improvements to portfolio monitoring.
• Maintain internal portfolio-related systems up to date.
• Communicate with Credit Risk, Middle Office, Legal, Financial Security and Compliance.
