The opportunity
EY’s Economics Advisory team combines deep sector knowledge with strong technical skills in economics, econometrics, and quantitative analysis to address key client issues in strategy, regulation, competition, planning, and government policy.
We are expanding our energy and resources practice to meet the evolving needs of the energy sector during the energy transition. Our focus areas include power generation economics, power price forecasting, energy and water network regulation, and decarbonisation policies.
We seek an experienced economist with strong communication, project management, and business development skills. A degree in Economics and relevant experience in regulated companies, regulators, government, or consultancy is essential.
Preferred knowledge includes energy regulation, market analysis, and financial analysis related to utility regulation.
