The University of Salford invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the Energy House Labs on a UKRI-funded retrofit project. You will design experiments, install sensor networks and perform in-situ measurements to assess energy performance and moisture risk in real buildings.

You'll build and validate models from measured data, collaborate with industry partners and produce peer‑reviewed papers and technical reports. Fixed-term contracts: 48 and 53 months.

Formación

• PhD in building physics, building engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with experimental measurement and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across academic and industry teams.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and run experiments on real buildings.
• Install and manage sensor networks; carry out in-situ measurements.
• Build, calibrate and validate building performance models from data.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and technical reports.
