Job summary

Requirements

You will have 3 National 5s, or equivalent, including English and Maths, or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

You will assist the Team Leader - Property Services and Energy Management and the Energy Officer with the effective procurement and consumption of energy and water in the City Council’s properties in accordance with the City Council’s sustainability policies and best practice. Contribute to the provision of a full energy management service including property inspection and reporting, works supervision, contract procurement and monitoring, and targeting regime (including energy supply). Communicate the aims and objectives of the City Council energy policy to staff, customers, and service suppliers.

The Individual

You will have general administration skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel. The ability to analyse/interpret data and prepare reports, along with experience of dealing with members of the public. You will be a good communicator with good keyboard, data inputting, and numeracy skills. You will be adaptable, capable of working as part of a team and with a minimum of supervision, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
