Even if you think you don’t meet all the requirements, please don’t be put off from applying. Our people are our strongest asset and the unique skills and perspectives people bring to the team are the driving force of our success. We are an equal opportunity employer and we welcome people from all backgrounds.

The Company

We're on a mission to significantly reduce carbon emissions from commercial buildings, and we're seeking a passionate and committed Energy and BMS Analyst to join our cause. Your role will be instrumental in spreading awareness of our proven technology and expanding our community of users. We are specifically looking for candidates with at least two years experience of working with the Built Environment.

Your mission is to make all of our customers successful by delivering proactive energy optimisation opportunities across their portfolio of buildings that ultimately delivers a lower carbon footprint for their business. Day to day you will find yourself working with our technology to validate auto-recommendations, whilst complementing those with additional opportunities through desktop-based analysis of energy meters, building management systems and equipment data. Over time you will become an expert in eliminating carbon and costs from energy usage within commercial buildings, enabling you to work directly with our customers and their site teams.

You will also work closely with our product and data science teams to help evolve the product and tune our machine learning. The role will be ideal for someone who is passionate about data and the planet, whilst having an interest in how the energy sector can evolve to help save the planet.

We are looking for high flyers who love solving customer problems and who have a strong desire to help our business grow. Experience in BMS and the built environment is essential. You'll be supported by a dedicated, high-performing team and equipped with the technology you need to succeed. If you're passionate about sustainability and eager to make a tangible impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Our organisational values centre around being Responsible, Open Minded, Customer First and Honest. Read more about Grid Edge: https://gridedge.ai/

  • Work closely with customers to understand the rules for the successful running of each building. Ensuring that is captured within our systems to enable proactive recommendations within the operating rules.
  • Deep dive analysis into energy meter data and building management system data to ensure the accuracy of recommendations.
  • ROI: Helping customers understand the costs and benefits of recommended interventions by always talking in four key languages Carbon, Cost, Consumption and Comfort.
  • Provide the customers with support to increasingly self-serve using the Grid Edge platform.
  • Utilise aggregated customer data to find innovative solutions to complex energy problems and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Provide our customers with monthly summary reports of all recommendations raised throughout the month, including carbon and cost savings realised.
  • Build successful relationships with all key customer stakeholders including onsite teams and suppliers.
  • Own and resolve any customer carbon or consumption queries and provide analysis support where needed.
  • Provide technical support to our sales and customer success team to analyse consumption and carbon anomalies.
