Firmus Energy, Northern Ireland’s leading natural gas provider, seeks a Business Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover in the Customer Service Team Basis an in Mallusk. Role focuses on data, reporting, and process improvement to drive performance and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will deliver meaningful reports, transform data into insights, and support strategic initiatives across customer service, operations, technology, and future business developments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a BA/Data/Reporting/Performance analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset to turn data into insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with SQL or database reporting tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and delivers meaningful insights.
• Analyse customer, operational and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the development of a data-driven culture and regulatory reporting processes.
