Energy Analyst
Facilities Management Sector

Location:Manchester
Salary: £35,000
Full-Time, Permanent

Are you passionate about energy efficiency, sustainability, and driving meaningful change? We are seeking an Energy Analyst to join our team at a market-leading facilities management company. This role is ideal for someone with experience in energy management, monitoring, and optimisation—focusing on efficiency improvements rather than billing analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse energy consumption data across multiple sites to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for energy reduction.
  • Support the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability projects.
  • Work closely with clients, engineers, and site teams to improve energy performance and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and support net-zero strategies.
  • Monitor and assess building energy management systems (BEMS/BMS) to drive efficiency.
  • Keep up to date with legislation, industry best practices, and new technologies to enhance energy performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in energy management or sustainability.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex energy data and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of BEMS/BMS systems, carbon reporting, and energy efficiency measures.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing energy-saving strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams and clients.
  • Relevant qualifications in energy management, environmental science, or engineering (e.g., Level 3 Energy Management, CIBSE, or equivalent) are desirable.

What’s in It for You?

  • Join a market-leading company in facilities management with a commitment to sustainability.
  • Work on a variety of projects that have a real impact on energy efficiency.
  • Opportunities for career growth, training, and professional development.
  • A collaborative and innovative working environment.

If you’re an energy professional looking for a role where you can drive real change in energy efficiency and sustainability, we’d love to hear from you!
