Job description

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Energy Advice Officer to join our team, based in Blackburn.

In this dynamic role, you'll support households facing or at risk of fuel poverty by offering practical, tailored energy-saving advice both remotely and through home visits.

You'll play a key role in reducing energy costs for vulnerable households by installing low-tech energy-saving measures such as LED lightbulbs and radiator reflector panels, while empowering them with the knowledge to use energy more efficiently. Your work will include community drop-ins, energy advice events, and partnership building with local organisations to ensure holistic support—including referrals to services for debt management, wellbeing, and employment.

Please note this role is a fixed-term contract lasting until the 31st of March 2026.
