Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking energetic individuals to join the classroom as Learning Support Assistants with a PE background. You will support pupils in lessons, help them stay focused and involved, and actively contribute to a positive, structured classroom environment.

No formal TA experience is required; training and safeguarding will be provided, along with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant. Flexible roles across schools with a focus on inclusion and activity.

Qualifications

• Background in sport, coaching or PE is preferred.
• Confident working with children or young people.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
• Patience, resilience and a calm approach under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons and help them stay focused and engaged.
• Use energy and creativity to keep learners motivated.
• Work 1:1 or with small groups requiring extra support.
• Encourage positive behaviour and build strong relationships.
• Support both classroom learning and active, structured sessions.
• Create a fun, inclusive environment in the classroom.
