Energetic Live-out Housekeeper/Cook wanted in Kensington – Start in April

A lovely family of four are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to help out in their gorgeous 5 bedroom house.

On the cooking side of things, the family enjoy eating healthy and fresh family style meals. The candidate will only be asked to cook three meals a day when the principals are in residence.

The housekeeping duties include:

1. Laundry
2. Ironing
3. Making the beds
4. Doing the online food shop
5. Flower arranging
6. Petty cash
7. Vacuuming
8. Deep cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
9. Wiping surfaces
10. Ensuring the household is clean and tidy at all times

The family also own a small dog, so the Housekeeper/Cook on occasion may be asked to take it on a walk.

When the family aren’t in residence, the hours are Monday to Friday 10:30 am to 8:00 pm (with a 2-3 hour break in the afternoon). When they are in residence, the Housekeeper/Cook will be asked to start earlier to prepare breakfast. Despite the start time, you will be working 9 hours each day.

Finally, the ideal candidate will be resilient, meticulous and a friendly face to have around the home.

Salary: £45,000 gpa (DOE)
