TeacherActive is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Pontypridd. This full-time, temporary role starts November 2026 and runs until February half term 2027, with on-site duties across KS3 and KS4.

You will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and keep learning on track in a supportive school environment. Competitive daily pay and CPD opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be confident supervising classes across KS3 and KS4.
• Be adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be able to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
• Promote a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
