We are seeking an experienced Trading Business Analyst to support energy and commodities trading firms in optimizing the Endur trading platform. You will work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to enhance platform efficiency and effectiveness in trading, risk management, and back-office operations.
In this role, you will be:
Analyzing business requirements
Configuring Endur functionalities and identifying system improvements
Troubleshooting issues related to trading workflows
Ensuring data integrity and facilitating user training
Generating and presenting reports to key stakeholders
We are looking for experience in the following areas:
Business Analysis / Project Delivery Experience
Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery and business analysis
Strong BA experience including capturing business problems, value drivers, and requirements
Experience running workshops and user acceptance testing
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile project delivery
Energy Trading & Endur Experience
Experience of energy trading markets, with understanding of markets such as UK & European Power, Gas, and Environmental products
Knowledge of trading instruments like OTC transactions (forwards, swaps, options) and exchange-traded futures & options lifecycle including cascading
In-depth knowledge of trade capture, market risk, back-office processes, accounting, EOD, and system migration
Proficiency with OpenLink Endur configurations and reference data management
Experience in configuring Endur for deal lifecycle, confirmations, invoicing, and scheduling
Experience managing complex projects/services and knowledge of ETRM systems (Endur v18 or beyond)
Understanding of energy trading and risk management (ETRM) business processes
Knowledge of energy/commodity trading (Power, Emissions, Gas, Commodities)
Experience with trade lifecycle processes and system integration
Financial concepts knowledge such as P&L, MTM, financial risk, derivatives, settlements
Strong organizational skills and resource management
Leadership experience in managing teams and projects, including cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with delivery methodologies like Agile and Waterfall
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM fields preferred but not essential
