Position: Software Developer - Regulatory and NBAP Operations

Your future plans

By joining the Regulatory and NBAP (New Business Approval) Operations team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting regulatory components and solutions within RWE Supply & Trading GmbH's (RWEST) ETRM system OpenLink Endur, ensuring compliance with energy trading regulations. As a Software Developer, you will develop solutions in close collaboration with business users, supported by a dedicated IT team.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Combine development expertise with application and business knowledge
  • Work within a collaborative, agile squad to deliver solutions
  • Take responsibility for delivering high-quality, robust functionalities with business value
  • Continuously improve processes and drive change
  • Utilize Java / JVS and SQL programming skills
  • Configure and develop in Openlink Endur or similar ETRM systems
  • Work with relational and document databases
  • Apply strong analytical skills and communicate effectively (verbal & written)
  • Interest in Energy Markets / Financial Markets (e.g., trading products)
Advantages (not mandatory)
  • Understanding of trade modeling/lifecycle
  • Experience with energy trading regulations (e.g., EMIR, REMIT, Dodd-Frank)
