By joining the Regulatory and NBAP (New Business Approval) Operations team, you will play a key role in the design, build and support of regulatory components and solutions in RWE Supply & Trading GmbH's (RWEST) ETRM system OpenLink Endur, to ensure our compliance to energy trading regulations. As a Software Developer you will be responsible for developing the solutions in close collaboration with the business users and with the support of a great IT team.

• You are looking for a challenge which combines development expertise with application / business knowledge
• You are part of a squad which actively works together and delivers solutions in an agile setup
• You are motivated to take responsibility for delivering functionality which fits high standards in terms of robustness and business value
• You like to continuously improve processes and drive change
• You are experienced in using Java / JVS and SQL
• You have programming / configuration experience in Openlink Endur or any other ETRM system
• You have experience with relational and document databases
• You have strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively; verbal & written
• You have interest in Energy Markets / Financial Markets (e.g. trading products)

Advantageous, but not a must

• An understanding of the basics of trade modelling/ lifecycle
• Exposure / experience of any energy trading regulations i.e. EMIR/ REMIT/ Dodd Frank etc
