This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector. Description:
End-to-end delivery of all systems necessary to manage the Systematic Trading desk trade flow from deal entry to settlements. This value stream will pave the way for rapid incremental roll-out of further desks. It will also prove the end-to-end Endur transaction backbone and the downstream (risk & finance) workflows, processes and key interfaces. Roles and Responsibilities:

  2. Assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact.
  3. Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Create compelling business cases and establish approval, funding and prioritization.
  5. Create/update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project life cycle.
  6. Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs through testing and scope changes, to final solution.
  7. Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and database design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.
  8. Configure and document software and processes, using agreed standards and tools.
  9. Create acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs, through defining and coordinating testing.
  10. Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution value and establish approval, funding and prioritization.
  11. Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control Business Analysis activities on projects within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality.
  12. Lead stakeholder management activities and large design sessions.
  13. Lead teams to complete business analysis on projects.
  14. Set the direction for business analysis activities.
  15. Propose improvements.

Mandatory skills:
  1. Agile project experience.
  2. Good understanding and experience of the Agile frameworks and tools.
  3. Experience working in Agile projects and educating stakeholders including Product Owners and Business partners in Agile ways of working.
  4. 7 - 10 years in IT & team leadership experience.
  5. 4-year IT Degree.

Optional skills:
  1. CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
