Overview

Exciting opportunity for an Endur Functional Business Analyst to join a global Energy company for a 6 - 12 month initial contract. This role focuses on Endur Commercial BA work within a large programme delivering EU Gas, EU Power, and Global Emissions releases. You will join a greenfield, cloud-hosted Endur implementation and play a key role from design through build to implementation and beyond. You will work closely with dedicated business SMEs to drive requirements and design for a strategic ETRM solution, contributing to a team of experienced professionals with extensive Endur knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the BA lead, business, and IT stakeholders to fulfil the BA role across the full project lifecycle, from scoping and requirements gathering through working with developers and testers to running user acceptance testing.
  • Configure elements of the Endur solution in the system as part of delivery.
  • Own the scope and the solution landscape for the Endur workstream (while architects drive the overall solution landscape).
  • Contribute to the delivery across major releases: EU Gas, EU Power, and Global Emissions.
  • Work within a programme structure of squads (typically 8-12 people including Product Owners, BAs, Developers, and Testers).
  • Engage in Endur V24/V25 upgrades and the go-live activities for the cloud-hosted implementation.
  • Partner with business SMEs to drive requirements and design for a strategic ETRM solution; leverage collective Endur knowledge to shape best practices.
What you will bring
  • Business Analysis/Project Delivery Experience - Essential: End-to-end project lifecycle delivery, strong ability to capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements; experience running workshops and user acceptance testing; demonstrated stakeholder management skills; experience in Agile project delivery.
  • Energy Trading Experience - Essential: Experience of energy trading markets with strong understanding of European Gas (gas networks, balancing, scheduling, capacity, transportation, pricing, position, P&L, and exposure management); working knowledge of trading instruments including:
    • OTC transactions (forwards, storage, swing deals, swaps, simple options)
    • Exchange-traded futures & options life cycle including cascading
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to work in a large, globally dispersed, multi-cultural project team; self-starter with initiative and quick learning.
Additional Information

This role is for a 6-12 month initial contract, with excellent umbrella pay rates. The programme offers broad exposure to end-to-end trading lifecycle experiences across multiple commodities and the potential to grow expertise within a strategic Endur programme.
