Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated 1st Level Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy unit. You will participate in care planning, deliver and evaluate patient care, and work within Trust policies to ensure safety and dignified treatment.

• Current NMC Registration and ongoing professional development.
• Experience in a clinical environment and understanding of NHS guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and MDT.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and delivering patient care for a defined caseload.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care; recognise deterioration and respond per protocol.
• Maintain training for clinical skills and safe custody of drugs.
• Escalate concerns and participate in incident reporting.
• Support MDT decision making and act as patient advocate.
