Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to support our Endoscopy Team with room and equipment prep, patient care, and safe, efficient procedure turnover.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA training or nursing student rotations, and BLS. This is a 40-hour per week day shift with pay range $22.00-$29.61 per hour and eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course.
• Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations.
• BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Assist with patient care to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Ensure cleaning and disinfection of equipment and scopes.
• Provide quality and safe patient care.
• Facilitate patient movement in and out of the procedure room.
• Turn over procedure rooms, clean and set up equipment for next case.
• Obtain vital signs and record findings.

As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for the following:

• in preparing rooms and equipment.
• assists with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment.
• ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.
• Provides quality and safe patient care.
• Facilitates patients in and out of procedure room.
• Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.
• Obtain vital signs and record findings

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent And

Required: Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant

Preferred : ACU or Medical/Surgical

BLS is required

This is a 40 hour/week, day shift position

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $29.61

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
