Job summary

Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse or ODP to join the Endoscopy Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead. You will pre-assess patients to determine suitability for endoscopic procedures and help manage the patient pathway.

Endoscopy is fast-paced and rewarding, with involvement across GI, Urology, Gynaecology and Respiratory services. You will help maintain endoscopic equipment to high standards while supporting a welcoming, safe service.

Qualifications

• Pre assessing patients to determine suitability for endoscopic procedures.
• Managing the patient pathway across endoscopy-related care.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development as a Staff Nurse.
