Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Endoscopy Staff Nurse to join a small, dedicated team at Hillingdon Hospital. The role follows a Monday–Friday pattern, with training provided for Endoscopy if needed and a focus on patient-centred care in a fast-paced endoscopy environment.

You will assess and deliver nursing care for endoscopic procedures, while contributing to the smooth running of lists and supervising junior staff and learners as required.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration.
• Post registration NHS experience.
• Acute medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate multidisciplinary patient-centred care and deliver effective quality nursing care for patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures, ensuring lists run smoothly.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• In the absence of the senior nurse, take responsibility for management/leadership of the department.
• Supervise junior staff, healthcare assistants and learners.
