Job description

Staff Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: London: The London Bridge Hospital

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to cover the hours of 7am – 6pm plus rotational participation in Endoscopy on Call Rota)

We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Endoscopy Team at The London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

As a Staff Nurse in our Endoscopy department, you will provide effective, research-based care, taking responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and delivery of high-quality programmes of patient care. You will also be responsible for running procedure lists and be included in the on-call support service to the Endoscopy Unit.

Our JAG Accredited Endoscopy unit, based in St Olaf House, London Bridge Hospital, offers a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures - ERCP, EUS, POEM, EBUS.

As a member of staff within Endoscopy, you will have educational opportunities and be part of our exciting year ahead with expansion to 3 endoscopy procedure rooms and unit refurbishment.

Rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC, the London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City, Canary Wharf, and Kent.

With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds, and 10 operating theatres, we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.
