Job summary

The Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking an Endoscopy Practitioner to join the team on a 32-hour per week, permanent basis. The role demands flexibility to cover a range of shifts and deliver high‑quality endoscopy care.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, develop competence in endoscopy care and decontamination, and uphold patient safety and compassionate practice in line with organisational standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Basic and advanced competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01 -06).
• ILS.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
• Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
• Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
• Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
• Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.

We have an opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join their team of staff.

This is a part‑time role for 32 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
