Bath-based Acute Hospital is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Lead to manage the endoscopy and decontamination suite, ensuring JAG accreditation standards and national guidelines are followed. The role involves leadership of the endoscopy team, coordinating procedures and maintaining high patient care standards.
The successful candidate will be an RGN or ODP with NMC/HCPC registration and at least two years in a Senior Endoscopy Practitioner post, with strong team leadership and decontamination

The Unit operates from 08.00 18.00, Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.

The Endoscopy Unit undertakes diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy investigations such as Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Polypectomy, Cystoscopy and TOE, and starting a new Colon Capsules initiative.
The Hospital has 28 en-suite single inpatient beds, 22 day-case beds and 5 ambulatory care beds.
Facilities include 9 consulting rooms, 4 state-of-the-art operating theatres (2 with laminar flow), a JAG accredited Endoscopy suite, a dedicated cardiology suite and intervention treatment room.
The dedicated physiotherapy department has a gym and four treatment rooms.
The Digital diagnostic unit includes CT, MRI, General X-ray and Ultrasound
