Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is recruiting a full-time nurse to join the Endoscopy Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd, POAC Endoscopy. The role involves contributing to high-quality care across 8 procedure rooms, performing diagnostics, therapeutics, and surveillance, and pre-assessing patients before endoscopy under guidance.

Welsh language skills are welcome, and applicants from both Welsh and English speaking backgrounds will be considered. A supportive induction and development pathway awaits.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience working in the gastroenterology setting
• Evidence of contribution to practice development
• Diploma or Degree level or willing to work towards
• Experience in Endoscopy nursing
• Evidence of Gastroenterology or Endoscopy course
• Welsh speaker
• Knowledge of NHS issues

Responsibilities

• Deliver endoscopy care across procedures including diagnostics, therapeutics, and surveillance
• Pre-assess patients prior to endoscopy under guidance
• Maintain high quality patient-focused care and accurate records
• Work within a multidisciplinary team in the Endoscopy Unit
