Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust in Stafford is recruiting for an Endoscopy nurse at Band 5 with a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The post requires NHS nursing experience and valid UK registration (NMC).

You will work with MDT colleagues and contribute to the bowel cancer screening service, while benefiting from JAG/JETS training and a supportive learning culture. The role supports flexible working and focuses on delivering high-quality endoscopy care, in line with UHNM

Qualifications

• Nursing experience in an NHS setting.
• Current UK professional registration (NMC).
• Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work with MDT CNS Liver, CNS IBD and CNS Nutrition in gastro patients, particularly with the Bowel Cancer Screening Service.
• Participate in flexible working arrangements.
• Attend training and maintain up-to-date standards (JAG/JETS accreditation).
• Contribute to the team and use individual initiative within a wider team context.
