Job summary

Medical Update Online invites applications for an experienced Senior Endoscopy Nurse or ODP to become Endoscopy Lead at our client’s Acute Hospital site in Bath, Somerset.

The role covers daily management of the endoscopy unit and decontamination services, with duties including leadership, clinical governance, and operational oversight. The unit operates 08:00 to 17:00 weekdays with occasional Saturday work, supporting a busy elective and diagnostic programme.

Qualifications

• Senior Endoscopy Nurse or ODP with leadership experience.
• Experience with endoscopy decontamination processes.
• Clinical governance and patient safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily management of the endoscopy suite and decontamination service.
• Ensure adherence to local and national guidelines.
• Support staffing, training and governance.
