Job summary

Practice Plus Group in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the Endoscopy team. In this flexible, zero-hours role you will support patients before, during and after procedures, helping to create a calm, informed and comfortable experience.

You will work alongside experienced nursing and clinical staff, performing clinical and administrative duties to contribute to high standards of patient care. NVQ level 2 or equivalent and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and supporting patients in the Endoscopy department.
• Assisting with personal care and maintaining dignity.
• Recording observations such as BP, pulse, temperature and weight.
• Supporting urine testing and escalating concerns to nursing staff.
• Assisting with nutrition, hydration and mobility needs.
• Preparing documentation and supporting administrative tasks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment.
