Job summary

The London Independent Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking an Endoscopy Practitioner to join the Endoscopy department on a bank/as- needed basis in Stepney Green, London. You will supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for annual leave or absence.

Candidates must be registered with NMC or HCPC and hold Basic and Advanced Endoscopy care qualifications, with Decontamination training and teaching/mentorship credentials as noted. ILS knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Basic and advanced Competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications.
• Knowledge of Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01-06 and ILS.

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
• Support the team in demonstrating compassion through relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
• Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge and skills.

The London Independent Hospital Bank Shifts Salary Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The London Independent Hospital in Stepney Green is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join their team of staff in the Endoscopy department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
• Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
• Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
