We are currently expanding nationally and seeking Endocrine Clinical Sales Specialists responsible for understanding customer needs, supporting pull-through activities aligned with customer strategies, and ensuring that Ascendis Pharma is viewed as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and patients. This role focuses on supporting the launch of Yorvipath.

The Endocrine Clinical Sales Specialist will develop in-depth product and disease state knowledge to engage in appropriate clinical dialogues with healthcare professionals. They must effectively educate on indications, efficacy, and safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Engaging in customized discussions and in-person interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
  2. Driving sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts.
  3. Using assigned budgets effectively to promote therapeutic goals.
  4. Maintaining current knowledge of local markets, practice structures, and key influencers, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
  5. Understanding practice structures, business models, and key influencers to identify opportunities.
  6. Utilizing analytical tools to evaluate business and optimize resource allocation ethically.
  7. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver resources and pull-through strategies.
  8. Managing administrative tasks such as work hours, call data, sample, and expense reporting.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a specialty or rare disease environment, preferably with injectable products and adult endocrinology.
  • Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services.
  • Proven performance and ability to develop successful business plans.
  • Experience in new product launches and working with patient services and specialty pharmacies.
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making, ethics, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, establish customer relationships, and communicate technical information ethically and effectively.
  • Credentialing compliance and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Willingness to travel overnight.
