Job Description

Support Analyst, End User Security Engineer (Vulnerabilities), Intune, Endpoint Configuration Manager.

Our client, a market leader in their sector, is looking to hire a contractor for an endpoint security project to ensure the efficient operation of end-user devices, including laptops, phones, and handheld devices.

The primary responsibility of this role will be vulnerability management, including conducting regular assessments, implementing security measures, and liaising with various departments.

The successful candidate will implement and manage software patches promptly and configure MS Teams, Intune, and Endpoint Configuration Manager accordingly.

Skills Required:
  • Relevant experience in vulnerability management and endpoint security
  • Strong knowledge of MS Teams, Intune, and Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Familiarity with access management principles
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incidents related to EUC reported through the Service Desk or monitoring systems
  • Provisioning and patching of end-user computing devices such as laptops and phones in adherence to SLAs
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software vulnerabilities; escalate complex or unresolved incidents to appropriate teams or vendors
  • Implement and manage software patches for end-user devices, ensuring security updates are applied promptly to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Conduct regular reviews of outstanding vulnerability and patch management activities using tools such as Qualys and Microsoft Intune
  • Maintain configuration baselines for end-user devices and ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Collaborate with various departments to address and remediate vulnerabilities identified in scanning reports
  • Provide training and support to users on security best practices and the importance of regular updates
