Job summary

TRP Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced apparel product development professional to lead the full lifecycle from design handover to bulk production, collaborating with Design, Production and Sourcing to meet fit, quality, commercial and compliance standards.

This 12-month maternity cover role includes leading fit sessions, managing tech specs, fabrics and trims, and maintaining critical paths, with travel to Watford as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Apparel Product Development across menswear ideally, womenswear a plus.
• Strong problem-solving with proactive, self-starting mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in sourcing and factory allocations and managing overseas suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage full product lifecycle from design handover through SMS, PPS and shipment.
• Lead fit and sample development, conduct fit sessions and approve prototypes across stages.
• Manage technical specs, tech packs, size charts, measurement specs and construction standards.
• Oversee fabrics, trims and materials, approve fabrics, lab dips, trims and embroidery; resolve issues with suppliers.
