Zusammenfassung

Iwt Phu Single Corporate Service is seeking a dedicated Buyer to join its Procurement & Supply Chain team in Plymouth. The role supports multiple NHS organisations and focuses on end-to-end tactical purchasing, from requisitions to purchase orders and supplier liaison.

You will help process invoices, source requirements via eProcurement, and advise departments on procurement best practices, aiming to deliver value for money and timely, accurate catalogue maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Must have English and Maths education to NVQ4 or equivalent.
• Willing to work towards CIPS or equivalent.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain is desirable but not essential.
• Strong IT literacy and familiarity with eProcurement systems.

Aufgaben

• Raise and process requisitions and purchase orders.
• Manage invoice queries to ensure suppliers are paid within NHS 30-day terms.
• Support catalogue updates and maintenance.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate with suppliers to secure value for money.
• Advise departments on procurement processes, contracts, and purchasing best practice.
• Assist with identifying savings opportunities through spend analysis.
• Maintain procurement records, including Atamis updates.
• Support the wider Procurement team with administrative and operational tasks.
