This role includes ensuring accurate payments, compliance with UK payroll legislation, and managing employee queries. Suitable candidates should have experience in payroll within a medium‑to‑large organization, with strong skills in payroll systems and Excel. The position offers a competitive salary and the option for remote work one day a week after probation.

Qualifications

• Successful experience in an end‑to‑end payroll role within a medium‑to‑large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NI, and statutory benefits.

Responsibilities

• Co‑ordinate and support the monthly end‑to‑end payroll process.
• Oversee and manage the payroll of company benefits.
• Ensure payroll operations adhere to UK payroll legislation.

Skills

Knowledge of UK payroll legislation

Proficiency in payroll systems

Strong Excel skills

Experience managing P11D and PSA submissions

Education

Payroll qualification – CIPP
