Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to oversee cradle-to-grave projects in a small, specialist team. You will drive concepts to completion using SolidWorks with occasional 2D CAD work, in an office-based setting with 40 hours a week and flexi-hours.

You will benefit from further training, become the task expert on select robotics and SP machinery projects, and enjoy a strong work-life balance with 33 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to become a technical expert.
• Experience with designing complex machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cradle-to-grave projects from concept to completion.
• Utilize SolidWorks with occasional 2D CAD for designs.
• Develop technically and progress within a small specialist team.
