Cohere is seeking a skilled software engineer for the North Data Abstractions & Tools team. You will own the end-to-end integration pipeline, adding new tools and ensuring reliable operation across enterprise data sources. Remote-friendly with London offices, you’ll collaborate with engineers and use AI to improve data workflows.

You will design evals and tests for integrations, tune tool descriptions, and maintain high quality code while adapting to evolving platform needs.

Responsabilités

• Build new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform and maintain existing ones.
• Own the integration pipeline from design to shipping and maintenance.
• Help other engineers add integrations and raise the team's standards.
• Create evals and tests to ensure integrations work and catch regressions.
• Tune tool descriptions to improve performance based on feedback and evals.
• Use AI in your work while ensuring quality and reliability of what you ship.
