Job Description

We are seeking an independent end-point assessor for the Apprenticeship in Senior Healthcare Support Worker Allied Health Profession Therapy (Level 3). The role involves conducting assessments of apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviors to ensure they meet industry standards. Assessments can be conducted onsite or remotely, with outcomes recorded and submitted for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in training and standardisation activities
  • Maintain evidence of CPD
  • Assess candidate performance according to published criteria
  • Follow Pearson protocols and quality assurance procedures
  • Respond to EPA planning and operational activities
  • Report risks and issues, including malpractice
  • Ensure high-quality assessment evidence
  • Support Pearson with appeals if necessary
  • Manage travel arrangements for assessments
  • Raise conflicts of interest
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and external quality assurance
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be a qualified healthcare professional with recent experience in healthcare settings, hold or be working towards a formal assessor qualification, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and assessment skills. UK residency is required, and candidates must have personal IT equipment suitable for remote assessments.
