Role Overview

Pearson is recruiting End Point Assessors for the Lead Practioner in Adult Care - Level 4. The independent EPA ensures apprentices meet industry standards, assessing their knowledge, skills, and behaviors upon completion of their apprenticeship. The role involves onsite assessments, record-keeping, and quality assurance, requiring qualified assessors with relevant occupational experience and assessor qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in training and standardisation activities
  • Maintain evidence of CPD
  • Assess candidate performance according to set criteria
  • Follow Pearson’s protocols and quality assurance procedures
  • Respond promptly to EPA planning and operational activities
  • Report risks, issues, and suspected malpractice
  • Ensure assessment evidence is accurate and high quality
  • Support appeals and manage conflicts of interest
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and external quality assurance

Essential Experience and Skills
