End Point Assessor

Home based – Remote role

Can reside anywhere in the UK

6-month contract

Full time Monday to Friday

Can lead to the contract being extended, or permanent

Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm (with flexibility) 45 mins lunch

Equipment is provided: laptop, mobile, headsets, etc.

Job Role

Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards.

Must have end point assessing experience or have worked with students assisting them and preparing them for end point assessments.

Conducting assessments online.

Occasional workplace visits may be required, and expenses will be paid.

Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online.

The role involves end-point assessment for operational delivery for candidates working in PSODO (Public Sector Operational Delivery Officer) for HMRC, Civil Service, Border Force, Home Office, local authorities, councils, etc., for levels 2, 3, and 4 (level 3 experience is sufficient for this role).

Agreeing on a plan and schedule for each assessment activity during the end point window.

Marking in line with grading criteria for the apprenticeship standard and confirming each element has been completed.

Determining the overall grade for the apprentice based on the combination of performance in all assessment activities.

Participating in standardisation and training activities.

Full 1-day induction in Bristol with the remainder conducted online (all paid for).

Essential Requirements for the Role

Must be Assessor qualified (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or CAVA).

Must have experience as an end point assessor or relevant experience in public services for operational delivery, senior customer services, or team leadership in public services.

Alternatively, must have worked in operational delivery as a direct employee or linked contracts, or in customer services or team leading for public services within the last 2 years and now qualified as an Assessor with an understanding of EPA.

£28,382 to £32,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
