Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation in Pulborough (UK) is seeking an Encapsulation Team Leader to supervise the encapsulation process for electro-mechanical assemblies and lead hands-on operations.

You will plan, allocate and coordinate workload, perform routine maintenance checks, ensure quality workmanship and 5S housekeeping, and train colleagues to provide essential backup for encapsulation tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and change filters for spray booth; ensure PPE is used.
• Seal, prime, encapsulate and assemble units for encapsulation.
• Operate automated equipment for encapsulation into assemblies.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on potting machines and related equipment.
• Train staff to ensure backup for encapsulation tasks.
• Raise production paperwork and ensure quality procedures are followed.

With design and manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia, we have become the preferred provider of high voltage power solutions for OEMs pushing the boundaries of technology around the world by designing and producing the products they need to power progress.Job Title: Encapsulation Team LeaderFunction: ManufacturingReporting to: Manufacturing ManagerMAIN OBJECTIVESResponsible for the supervision of the encapsulation process for electro mechanical assemblies and handson encapsulation processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning, allocating, and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers in line with capacity requirements.Maintenance and filter change of Spray booth in accordance with procedures.Sealing, priming, encapsulating and mechanical assembly of units for encapsulation. Operating automated equipment to pour encapsulation into assemblies.Carrying out routine maintenance checks and cleaning of potting machine, compressor and vac pump and training other employees to ensure maintenance tasks are completed. Training employees to ensure there is essential backup for encapsulation tasks.Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.Working as part of a team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards, repair techniques and ESD requirements are implemented.Working with other team members to continuously improve quality and processes, maintain and improve housekeeping in accordance with 5S tasks and cleanliness of work area.
