Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Freelance Works Manager to lead enabling works for major civils contracts in the North West. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate with Project Manager, Site Agents, engineers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, programme, and quality on enabling works.

The role focuses on early-stage construction activities, site establishment, haul roads, earthworks and logistics, demanding adherence to RAMS, ITPs and strict health and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS are essential.
• Experience with major civils/infrastructure schemes.
• Experience enabling works and site preparation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations.
• Oversee enabling works and site establishment.
• Coordinate earthworks, haul roads, and logistics.
• Ensure RAMS, ITPs and quality requirements are followed.
• Liaise with Project Manager, Site Agents and clients.
