About The Role

The Enabling Support Worker role involves providing support and encouragement, following the guidance of both the individual supported and the person-centered support plan.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in line with service requirements and may be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a need to cover sleep-in sessions, for which you will receive an additional £60 per sleep-in.

Shaftesbury West offers person-centered care and support, enabling adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including dementia, to live as independently as possible. We operate three independent living services, ranging from daytime to 24-hour sleep-in care and support. Shaftesbury West is run by Shaftesbury, the disability charity connecting people with their communities.

Shaftesbury Independent Living specializes in providing flexible, client-driven care, health, and inclusion services for people with a wide range of needs and living situations. Whether support is needed for an hour or twenty-four hours a day, we help individuals maximize their life and community involvement.
