Shaftesbury is seeking passionate Enabling Support Workers to provide support and encouragement to individuals with disabilities. The Enabling Support Worker role involves providing support and encouragement, following the guidance of both the individual supported and the person-centered support plan.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in line with service requirements and may be required to administer personal care and medication.
There will be a need to cover sleep-in sessions, for which you will receive an additional £60 per sleep-in.
Shaftesbury West offers person-centered care and support, enabling adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including dementia, to live as independently as possible. We operate three independent living services, ranging from daytime to 24-hour sleep-in care and support. Shaftesbury West is run by Shaftesbury, the disability charity connecting people with their communities.
