Shaftesbury Next Steps is recruiting an Enabling Support Worker in Bromley. This role supports young adults with learning disabilities, following a person-centred plan and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Expect 37.5 hours per week at £12.80 per hour, with occasional sleep-in shifts paid £60 per occurrence.

The successful candidate will join a caring team focused on enabling independence and a • supportive, community-minded approach to daily living.

Location: Next Steps, Bromley

Salary: £12.80 per hour

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

About the role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

Next Steps is a day centre that supports young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to learn and develop life-skills and build confidence.
