Enablement Manager - Multi-asset and Adviser Solutions

London

The Role

As the Enablement Manager for the Multi-asset and Adviser Solutions (“MAAS”) in Europe, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the department operates effectively, efficiently and in alignment with strategic priorities – as well as be a key player in the execution of the growth plan for the business across its different pillars.

Sitting on the MAAS Leadership Team (“MAAS LT”), this role will enable MAAS leaders and broader team to perform at their best through planning, prioritisation and execution of key team-wide initiatives and strategic projects – at an important junction for the business, as it prepares for a significant acceleration both in the UK and in Continental Europe (CE).

In this role you will

Reporting into the Head of MAAS, Europe (“Team Head”), this role will have a number of important accountabilities:

  • You will participate in and, where appropriate, lead the execution of projects and initiatives that are critical to the success of MAAS Europe by developing and managing project timelines, coordinating deliverables across stakeholders and the MAAS LT, identifying and addressing risks or dependencies – as well as opportunities for further synergies and growth – and reprioritizing workstreams as needed to maintain focus on high value activities, while ensuring clear progress tracking, action follow through, and consistent stakeholder communication
  • You will work with the MAAS team, MAAS LT, and wider stakeholders to identify and drive material improvements to the operational processes and technology adoption of MAAS Europe. You will be privy to our strategy and plans, and have the opportunity to contribute to not only to its execution, but also to its shaping
  • You will work on the development of OKRs as required, ensuring these objectives are clearly connected to and aligned with the broader OKR frameworks of Europe and Global Multi-asset businesses
  • You will work with the Team Head and MAAS LT to develop and implement strategic business plans (e.g. workforce planning, location strategy, technology roadmaps) and monitor performance against those objectives
  • You will manage stakeholder coordination by ensuring leaders have clear, concise decision ready information, surfacing critical risks for consideration. You will collaborate closely with similar roles across Europe and the Global ‘sister’ functions to ensure alignment, contributing to initiatives that have regional and global scope
  • You will support the Team Head with developing or coordinating development of materials for internal and external engagements, including client meetings, client presentations, press engagements, Board memos, business plans, Quarterly Business Reviews, Townhalls, and team communications
What it takes
  • Strong orientation towards planning and execution, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
  • A passion for clients and investments; understanding of the European client landscape and of the solutions needed to serve them a strong plus
  • A track record in working with operational processes and technology solutions which enhance crew experience and efficiency. A drive to identify opportunities to progress the adoption of automation (including AI tools) to increase efficiency within the role and across the team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – as well as sound critical thinking and problem solving skills, needed to be part of a business transformation and build out
  • Ability to contribute to strategic plans and related execution streams
  • Outstanding and proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the division and enterprise
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and act as a confidential advisor
Special Factors
  • Vanguard is not offering sponsorship for this position
  • This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
